A pioneer in the Casablanca Valley and a benchmark in internationally renowned organic wines.
Viña Veramonte was founded in the late 1990s in the Casablanca Valley, when it was still uncharted territory in the wine industry. Founded by the visionary Agustín Huneeus, who was the first to invest in the area by planting Sauvignon Blanc in the late 1980s, it marked the beginning of the project that would later build the valley's first major winery in 1998.
Located on Route 68, 55–60 minutes from Valparaíso and Viña del Mar, Veramonte has established itself as one of Casablanca's most respected wineries, a pioneer in demonstrating the potential of its soils for cool-climate white and red wines. Today, it is part of the González Byass family and continues to produce high-quality organic wines that faithfully express the origins of its vineyards in Casablanca and Colchagua.
